Washington High School Softball - University gets by Mt. Spokane

The University Titans nipped the host Mt. Spokane Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Titans (19-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ferris (Spokane, WA). The Saxons go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Ferris was edged by Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA), 13-6, in a league battle.
The Wildcats now possess a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Mead for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Friday, May 3. Mt. Spokane will confront a Panthers squad coming off a 24-2 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-6.
