Texas High School Baseball - Hallettsville holds off Columbus

The Hallettsville Brahmas baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Columbus Cardinals to 0 in the Brahmas league win on Friday.
The Brahmas now hold a 19-3 record. They take the field next when they host Palacios for a 3A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, April 15. Hallettsville will play a Sharks team coming off a 5-2 league loss to Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 14-9.
With the defeat, Columbus drops to 10-10 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX) to play the Raiders in a 3A Region IV District 25 test on Tuesday, April 15. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 9-14. Rice Consolidated lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Yoakum (Yoakum, TX)
