Missouri High School Baseball - Vianney edges Lutheran South

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) and the visiting Lutheran South Lancers (St. Louis, MO), saw Vianney's baseball team gain a win over Lutheran South by a tally of 6-4.
The Golden Griffins (14-0) will now prepare for their battle against Christian Brothers (Memphis, TN). The Purple Wave enter the non-league battle with a 16-3 record. In their last battle, Christian Brothers held off St. Benedict at Auburndale (Cordova, TN), 14-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Lancers face the St. Francis Borgia Knights (Washington, MO) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 14. Lutheran South will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Knights enter the battle with a 7-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Father Tolton (Columbia, MO).
