The Poth Pirates (Poth, TX) baseball the host Stockdale Brahmas (Stockdale, TX), 7-3 in Friday's league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 17-5 record. They take the field next when they host Luling for a 3A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, April 14. Poth will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-15.

With the defeat, Stockdale drops to 10-12 on the year. The Brahmas travel to Goliad (Goliad, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 3A Region IV District 26 challenge on Monday, April 14. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Goliad won 14-2 in their recent league challenge against Karnes City (Karnes City, TX)
