In Friday's league match, the visiting Bishop Watterson Eagles softball team scored a tight 11-9 win over the St. Francis DeSales Stallions.
The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their match against Cathedral (Indianapolis, IN). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Cathedral nipped Indianapolis Lutheran (Indianapolis, IN), 15-1, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Stallions battle the Bishop Hartley Hawks (Columbus, OH) in a Central Catholic match, on Monday, April 14. St. Francis DeSales will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record.
