The Bishop Watterson Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and held the visiting St. Francis DeSales Stallions to 3 in the Eagles league win on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bloom-Carroll for a non-league battle on Friday, April 25. Bishop Watterson will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Licking Valley (Newark, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-1.

With the loss, St. Francis DeSales moves to 3-9 on the season. The Stallions host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH) to confront the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 24. The Lions come into the battle with a record of 3-5. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin won 17-1 in their recent non-league battle against Tree of Life Christian (Columbus, OH)
