Texas High School Softball - Lancaster succumbs to Mesquite

April 11, 2025: Lancaster, TX 75146

In Friday's league test, the Mesquite Skeeters (Mesquite, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the host Lancaster Tigers (Lancaster, TX), by a tally of 13-3.

Next, the Skeeters clash with the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 test, on Tuesday, April 15. Mesquite will attempt to advance on its 17-12 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the test with a 19-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Horn (Mesquite, TX).

The Tigers (18-10) will now prepare for their test against Waxahachie (Waxahachie, TX). The Indians go into the 6A Region II District 11 test with a 16-8 record. In their last test, Waxahachie prevailed over Skyline (Dallas, TX), 18-0, in a league test.
