The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Santa Rosa Warriors (Santa Rosa, TX) and the host Progreso Red Ants (Progreso, TX), observed Santa Rosa's softball team prevail over Progreso by a tally of 13-3.

The Warriors (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against Lyford (Lyford, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region IV District 32 bout with a 8-10 record. In their last bout, Lyford knocked off Progreso (Progreso, TX), 19-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Red Ants clash with the Raymondville Bearkats (Raymondville, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Progreso will attempt to advance on its 3-7 season record. The Bearkats go into the bout with a 7-13 record after their 7-6 league loss to Rio Hondo (Rio Hondo, TX).
