Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Salado Eagles (Salado, TX) and the visiting Burnet Bulldogs (Burnet, TX), witnessed Salado's softball squad tip Burnet by a count of 9-4.

The Eagles now sport a 16-9 record. They play next when they travel to Gateway College Preparatory for a 4A Region III District 19 match on Friday, April 15. Salado will face a Gators squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Jarrell (Jarrell, TX). The Gators record now stands at 9-11.

With the loss, Burnet moves to 17-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Taylor (Taylor, TX) to face the Ducks in a 4A Region III District 19 match on Thursday, April 14. The Ducks go into the match with a record of 15-4. Taylor lost 6-1 in their recent league match against Lake Belton (Temple, TX)
