In Friday's non-league game, the host Valencia Jaguars baseball team scored a tight 9-7 victory over the Highland Hornets.
The Jaguars (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Belen (Belen, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 6-5 record. In their last game, Belen got by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 21-6, in a non-league contest.
