In Friday's league test, the host Corinth Holders Pirates lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-3 victory over the Fuquay - Varina Bengals.

The Pirates now have a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Garner for a Greater Neuse River test on Tuesday, April 16. Corinth Holders will face a Titans squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-13.

In their next game, the Bengals face the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) in a Greater Neuse River test, on Tuesday, April 16. Fuquay - Varina will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 7-5 record after their 13-6 league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NC).
