The Carrizo Springs Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Somerset Bulldogs to 10 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Carrizo Springs moves its record to 8-11 on the year. The Wildcats host Floresville (Floresville, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 4A Region IV District 29 game on Friday, April 19. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 19-7.

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Pleasanton Eagles (Pleasanton, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 29 game, on Tuesday, April 16. Somerset will attempt to move on its 19-9 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 7-15 record after their 16-2 league loss to Devine (Devine, TX).
