The Rio Grande City Rattlers routed the visiting Martin Tigers softball squad by a final score of 15-0 in Friday's league battle.

The Rattlers (16-11) will now prepare for their battle against Roma (Roma, TX). The Gladiators go into the 5A Region IV District 30 battle with a 12-14 record.

The Tigers now possess a 2-16 record. They play next when they host Juarez-Lincoln for a 5A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Martin will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 14-3 league win over Cigarroa (Laredo, TX). The Huskies record now stands at 7-15.
