Alabama High School Baseball - Austin defeats James Clemens

The Austin Black Bears baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting James Clemens Jets to 0 in the Black Bears league win on Saturday.

The Black Bears now hold a 9-22 record. They take the field next when they host James Clemens for a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. Austin will play a Jets team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Sparkman (Harvest, AL). The Jets record now stands at 23-9.

With the defeat, James Clemens drops to 24-10 on the year. The Jets travel to Austin (Decatur, AL) to play the Black Bears in a non-league test on Saturday, April 12. The Black Bears go into the test with a record of 8-21. Austin won 7-6 in their recent non-league test against Brewer (Somerville, AL)
