In Saturday's league challenge, the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) baseball team trounced the host Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ), by a count of 9-3.
The Vipers now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Desert Edge for a challenge on Monday, April 14. Verrado will clash with a Scorpions team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-6.
With the defeat, Buckeye drops to 1-9 on the year. The Hawks host Canyon View (Waddell, AZ) to clash with the Jaguars in a challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 11-1.
