The Perry Central Commodores softball squad (Leopold, IN), was edged 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN)

With the triumph, Providence improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Pioneers host Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to face the Red Devils in a non-league contest on Monday, April 14. The Red Devils go into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Jeffersonville lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Henryville (Henryville, IN)

The Commodores (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tell City (Tell City, IN). The Marksmen go into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Tell City was nudged by North Posey (Poseyville, IN), 10-3, in a league challenge.
