The Perry Central Commodores softball team scored 10 runs and held the host Providence Pioneers to 2 in the Commodores non-league win on Saturday.

The Commodores now possess a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tell City for a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. Perry Central will confront a Marksmen team coming off a 10-3 league loss to North Posey (Poseyville, IN). The Marksmen record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Providence moves to 3-2 on the season. The Pioneers host Jeffersonville (Jeffersonville, IN) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league battle on Monday, April 14. The Red Devils come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Jeffersonville lost 4-0 in their recent non-league battle against Henryville (Henryville, IN)
