In Wednesday's league battle, the host Mount Pleasant Tigers soccer squad scored a good 13-0 triumph over the Albemarle Bulldogs.
The Tigers (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Anson (Wadesboro, NC). The Bearcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-4 record. In their last battle, Anson was overwhelmed by Parkwood (Monroe, NC), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs (0-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Stanly (New London, NC). The Comets come into the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, North Stanly was overwhelmed by South Stanly (Norwood, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
