North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherryville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 19. North Gaston will battle a Ironmen squad coming off a 13-4 league win over Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC). The Ironmen record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Ashbrook falls to 1-10 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to battle the Storm in a Big South 3A challenge on Tuesday, April 26. The Storm enter the challenge with a record of 12-3.
