West Virginia High School Softball - Ritchie County edged by Liberty

April 13, 2022: Clarksburg, WV 26301

In Wednesday's league outing, the host Liberty Mountaineers softball team scored a close 13-12 win over the Ritchie County Rebels.

Coming up next, the Mountaineers battle the East Fairmont Bees (Fairmont, WV) in a Big Ten outing, on Thursday, April 14. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Bees enter the outing with a 2-6 record after their 10-2 league loss to Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV).

The Rebels (3-9) will now prepare for their outing against Wahama (Mason, WV). The White Falcons enter the Little Kanawha outing with a 8-0 record. In their last outing, Wahama tipped Tyler (Sistersville, WV), 7-3, in a league outing.
