The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Willow Spring Storm (Fuquay-Varina, NC) and the host Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC), saw Willow Spring's lacrosse team achieve victory over Fuquay - Varina by a margin of 15-9.

The Storm (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South Garner (Garner, NC). The Titans enter the Greater Neuse River challenge with a 0-11 record. In their last challenge, South Garner was overwhelmed by Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 21-2, in a league challenge.

The Bengals (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC). The Pirates come into the Greater Neuse River battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Corinth Holders held off Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 12-1, in a league battle.
