Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), 26-15 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 3-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willow Spring for a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge on Friday, April 14. Southeast Raleigh will battle a Storm squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Storm record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Hillside falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Hornets host East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a DAC-VII 4A challenge on Friday, April 14. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-9. East Chapel Hill lost 30-15 in their recent league challenge against Jordan (Durham, NC)
