In Monday's non-league contest, the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs (Raleigh, NC) softball team overwhelmed the host Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC), by a margin of 39-29.

With the triumph, Southeast Raleigh moves its record to 4-16 on the year. The Bulldogs host Garner (Garner, NC) to play the Trojans in a Greater Neuse River 4A contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 13-5. Garner won 9-2 in their recent league contest against Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC)

In their next game, the Hornets play the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a DAC-VII 4A contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Hillside will attempt to move on its 0-16 season record. The Falcons come into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 19-6 league loss to Northern Durham (Durham, NC).
