Mississippi High School Softball - Mooreville nudges Itawamba Agricultural

Mooreville Troopers (Mooreville, MS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Troopers now sport a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caledonia for a 4A Region 1 challenge on Saturday, April 15.
With the loss, Itawamba Agricultural falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS) to face the Braves in a 4A Region 1 challenge on Monday, April 17. The Braves enter the challenge with a record of 13-12. Tishomingo County lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Corinth (Corinth, MS)
