The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) and the host Milton-Union Bulldogs (West Milton, OH), saw Riverside's softball squad nip Milton-Union by a count of 5-1.

The Pirates now sport a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Bethel for a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, April 18. Riverside will face a Bees squad coming off a 11-4 non-league loss to Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Bees record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Milton-Union falls to 6-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH) to face the Jets in a non-league match on Friday, April 14. The Jets enter the match with a record of 3-7. Franklin Monroe lost 5-4 in their recent league match against Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH)
