The Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors volleyball team (Calumet City, IL), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL)

The Lemont HS (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Thunderbolts come into the non-league challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Andrew defeated Kankakee (Kankakee, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Meteors encounter the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 17. Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South will attempt to move on its 1-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 15-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL).
