The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) and the host Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South Meteors (Calumet City, IL), saw Lemont's volleyball squad beat Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lemont upgrades its record to 13-10 on the year. The Lemont HS travel to Reavis (Burbank, IL) to play the Rams in a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, April 30. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 15-8.

The Meteors now own a 2-15 record. They play next when they travel to Richards for a South Suburban bout on Tuesday, April 30. Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-16.
