Coming up next, the Mavericks play the Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 16. Marvin Ridge will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 3-7 record after their 8-1 non-league loss to Weddington (Matthews, NC).
The Pirates now possess a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ardrey Kell for a non-league battle on Monday, April 15. Porter Ridge will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 league win over South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Knights record now stands at 6-4.
