With the win, South Brunswick upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Cougars travel to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC) to battle the Nighthawks in a non-league test on Monday, April 18. The Nighthawks come into the test with a record of 11-5. First Flight won 11-1 in their recent league test against Holmes (Edenton, NC)

With the defeat, Laney falls to 9-5 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to New Hanover (Wilmington, NC) to battle the Wildcats in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Tuesday, April 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 13-3. New Hanover won 12-2 in their recent league test against North Brunswick (Leland, NC)
