North Carolina High School Baseball - Wilson Prep wallops Northwest Halifax

The Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC), 18-3 in Thursday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A contest, on Tuesday, April 26. Wilson Prep will attempt to better on its 12-0 season record. The Pride enter the contest with a 6-3 record after their 20-8 league win over Northampton County (Gaston, NC).

The Vikings now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Warren County for a Tar Roanoke 1A contest on Friday, April 15. Northwest Halifax will play a Eagles squad coming off a 25-0 league win over Southeast Halifax (Halifax, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 10-3.
