The South Caldwell Spartans softball team scored 2 runs and limited the visiting Alexander Central Cougars to 1 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, South Caldwell moves its record to 11-1 on the year. The Spartans host Ashe County (West Jefferson, NC) to clash with the Huskies in a Northwestern 3A/4A game on Tuesday, April 26. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 2-11.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a Northwestern 3A/4A game, on Tuesday, April 26. Alexander Central will attempt to move on its 17-2 season record.
