The Oak Ridge War Eagles softball team scored 3 runs and limited the visiting Willis Wildkats to 1 in the War Eagles league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Oak Ridge improves its record to 12-9 on the year. The War Eagles travel to College Park (The Woodlands, TX) to clash with the Cavaliers in a 6A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, April 19. The Cavaliers come into the game with a record of 18-4. College Park won 7-6 in their recent league game against Conroe (Conroe, TX)

In their next game, the Wildkats clash with the Grand Oaks Grizzlies (Spring, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 bout, on Tuesday, April 19. Willis will attempt to better on its 11-16 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 league win over The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX).
