Spectators at Friday's league battle between the St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), saw St. Pius X's baseball squad beat Belen by a margin of 11-8.
Coming up next, the Sartans play the Grants Pirates (Grants, NM) in a 4A District 5 battle, on Tuesday, April 18. St. Pius X will attempt to better on its 15-4 season record. The Pirates enter the battle with a 18-5 record after their 6-0 league win over Valencia (Los Lunas, NM).
