The North Kingstown Skippers lacrosse team scored 16 points and held the visiting East Greenwich Avengers to 8 in the Skippers league win on Friday.

The Skippers (1-2) will now prepare for their match against La Salle Academy (Providence, RI). The Rams go into the Division 1 (State) match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, La Salle Academy was overwhelmed by IMG Academy Black (Bradenton, FL), 12-9, in a non-league match.

The Avengers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Mount St. Charles Academy (Woonsocket, RI). The Mounties go into the Division 1 (State) match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Mount St. Charles Academy was overwhelmed by Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI), 14-8, in a league match.
