North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad edge the host East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI), 8-7 in a league test.

The Skippers now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mount St. Charles Academy for a Division 1 (State) test on Wednesday, May 10. North Kingstown will face a Mounties squad coming off a 15-7 league win over Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Mounties record now stands at 2-8.

In their next game, the Avengers face the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties (Woonsocket, RI) in a Division 1 (State) test, on Thursday, May 11. East Greenwich will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Mounties come into the test with a 2-9 record after their 13-12 league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI).
