New Mexico High School Softball - Valley edged by Albuquerque Academy

In Friday's league outing, the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers softball team scored a close 6-5 win over the Valley Vikings.

Coming up next, the Chargers battle the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Albuquerque Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Huskies enter the outing with a 5-13 record after their 16-0 league loss to Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM).

The Vikings (8-15) will now prepare for their outing against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league outing with a 6-13 record. In their last outing, Valencia tipped Grants (Grants, NM), 22-7, in a league outing.
