The Saginaw Rough Riders softball team (Saginaw, TX), 2-0 in Friday's league test with the host Azle Hornets (Azle, TX)

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 5 test, on Wednesday, April 19. Azle will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Bearcats come into the test with a 23-4 record after their 15-1 league win over Brewer (Fort Worth, TX).

The Rough Riders (9-19) will now prepare for their test against Granbury (Granbury, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region I District 5 test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Granbury held off Rider (Wichita Falls, TX), 17-2, in a league bout.
