The Shepaug Valley Spartans softball team scored 26 runs and limited the host Gilbert Yellowjackets to 2 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Shepaug Valley moves its record to 4-0 on the year. The Spartans host Housatonic (Falls Village, CT) to play the Mountaineers in a Berkshire game on Monday, April 17. The Mountaineers come into the game with a record of 0-1. Housatonic lost 7-2 in their recent league game against Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT)
