The Gilbert Yellowjackets softball team (Winsted, CT), was routed 22-0 in Monday's league test with the host Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT)
Coming up next, the Spartans encounter the Housatonic Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) in a Berkshire test, on Wednesday, May 10. Shepaug Valley will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 24-9 league win over Terryville (Terryville, CT).
The Yellowjackets (2-14) will now prepare for their test against Wamogo Regional (Litchfield, CT). The Warriors come into the Berkshire test with a 3-8 record. In their last test, Wamogo Regional was routed by Coginchaug Regional (Durham, CT), 19-0, in a non-league test.
