Pennsylvania High School Softball - Hempfield Area bounces Pine-Richland

April 14, 2023: Gibsonia, PA

The Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA) softball routed the host Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), 8-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Spartans (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Knights go into the WPIAL 6A 2 bout with a 3-1 record.

The Rams now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Canon-McMillan for a WPIAL 6A 1 bout on Monday, April 17. Pine-Richland will confront a Big Macs squad coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Big Macs record now stands at 3-6.
