Rio Grande City Rattlers (Rio Grande City, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Martin Tigers (Laredo, TX), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Rattlers now sport a 24-3 record. They take the field next when they host Cigarroa for a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. Rio Grande City will face a Toros squad coming off a 22-12 league win over Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX). The Toros record now stands at 3-17.

With the loss, Martin falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Juarez-Lincoln (La Joya, TX) to face the Huskies in a 5A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 2-16. Juarez-Lincoln lost 22-12 in their recent league challenge against Cigarroa (Laredo, TX)
