The Chatham Panthers softball team scored 28 runs and held the host Watervliet Cannoneers to 3 in the Panthers league win on Monday.

The Panthers now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbia for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 17. Chatham will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 3-2 league win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake (Burnt Hills, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, Watervliet moves to 2-2 on the season. The Cannoneers host Greenville (Greenville, NY) to confront the Spartans in a Section 2 Patroon battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Spartans come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Greenville won 22-3 in their recent league battle against Germantown (Germantown, NY)
