The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Chatham Panthers (Chatham, NY) and the visiting Watervliet Cannoneers (Watervliet, NY), observed Chatham's softball team prevail over Watervliet by a tally of 18-0.

The Panthers (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Colonie Central (Albany, NY). The Wolfpack go into the non-league bout with a 14-2 record. In their last bout, Colonie Central knocked off Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY), 6-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cannoneers clash with the Maple Hill Wildcats (Castleton on Hudson, NY) in a Section 2 Patroon bout, on Wednesday, May 14. Watervliet will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Troy (Troy, NY).
