Plainview Hornets (Glenmora, LA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Evans Eagles (Evans, LA), 10-9 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Plainview upgrades its record to 6-15 on the year. The Hornets travel to Gibsland-Coleman (Gibsland, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, April 17. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 5-6. Gibsland-Coleman won 15-12 in their recent non-league game against Union Parish (Farmerville, LA)

The Eagles now own a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Merryville for a non-league game on Monday, April 14. Evans will play a Panthers squad coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 13-13.
