Alabama High School Softball - Arab gets by Pleasant Valley

The Arab Knights nipped the visiting Pleasant Valley Raiders softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Knights (6-12) will now prepare for their battle against Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Broncos go into the non-league battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Holly Pond was edged by Southeastern (Remlap, AL), 5-4, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now possess a 18-13 record. They play next when they travel to Buckhorn for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 16. Pleasant Valley will meet a Bucks squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Pisgah (Pisgah, AL). The Bucks record now stands at 13-12.
