Normal University Pioneers (Normal, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host MacArthur Generals (Decatur, IL), 14-4 in a league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to MacArthur for a Central State Eight challenge on Friday, April 15. Normal University will battle a Generals squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Rochester (Rochester, IL). The Generals record now stands at 2-9.
