South Walton Seahawks (Santa Rosa Beach, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Rutherford Rams (Panama City, FL), 25-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Seahawks now own a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they host Walton for a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 19. South Walton will battle a Braves squad coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Marianna (Marianna, FL). The Braves record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Rutherford falls to 0-15 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Bethlehem (Bonifay, FL) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Bethlehem lost 9-1 in their recent league challenge against Vernon (Vernon, FL)
