Utah High School Lacrosse - Uintah drops to Payson

April 15, 2024: Vernal, UT 84078

Payson Lions (Payson, UT) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT), 18-8 in a league test.

The Lions now have a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wasatch for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 16. Payson will face a Wasps squad coming off a 19-3 non-league loss to Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 1-7.

In their next game, the Utes face the Orem Tigers (Orem, UT) in a 4A Region 8 test, on Thursday, April 18. Uintah will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 2-6 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT).
