The Orange Panthers (Hillsborough, NC) soccer nipped the visiting Eastern Alamance Eagles (Mebane, NC), 4-3 in Monday's league bout.
With the victory, Orange moves its record to 6-3 on the year. The Panthers host Western Alamance (Elon, NC) to battle the Warriors in a Central 3A bout on Wednesday, April 17. The Warriors enter the bout with a record of 10-0. Western Alamance won 9-0 in their recent league bout against Southern Alamance (Graham, NC)
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC) in a Central 3A bout, on Thursday, April 18. Eastern Alamance will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Fighting Red Wolves enter the bout with a 9-4 record after their 7-0 league win over Person (Roxboro, NC).
