Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Byron Tigers (Byron, IL), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Indians now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they host Dixon for a Big Northern challenge on Tuesday, April 16. Winnebago will face a Dukes & Duchesses squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Dukes & Duchesses record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Byron falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL) to face the Rockets in a Big Northern challenge on Tuesday, April 16. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 7-8. Rock Falls won 14-3 in their recent league challenge against Oregon (Oregon, IL)
